And I learned earlier this year about a thing called "post book-release depression." It's that letdown you feel a week to a couple of weeks after the release, when the attention shifts to the next book that's out and all the fanfare about your book's release fades away. I felt it a little this last time, even though I didn't after the first one. I think with the first one it was because I was still doing signings for friends and such a couple of weeks after?
