So, I made it home from the cross country driving extravaganza. It was awesome. My house is a total mess. School starts next week. I would do just about anything for another week of vacation that doesn't involve driving anywhere :)
Some fun tidbits from our vacation:
# of miles driven: 3474
$ spent on gas: WAY too much (I kept track. I'm not sure that was a good idea)
# of nights scared away by wolves: 1 (thankfully not more)
# of days rained on during the two weeks: 10
# of national & state parks visited: 4 (or more, depending on how you look at it)
# of gigs of photos taken: 16GB+
# of blogs I haven't read or left comments on:
(I will be attempting to get around to blogs soon. Lots and lots of catching up to do!)
So, yeah, lots of fun, lots of sights, lots of stories. Hopefully things will get back to "normal" here shortly and I can get back into the swing of things!
And, just a little tidbit from our trip:
(The hike up to see the Delicate Arch at Arches National Park is not suitable for someone with a fear of heights. Ya know, FYI :)
Tell me, what is your favorite park (national, state, or otherwise) to visit?
