What about plans for this weekend? Anyone up to anything fun? I'm hoping to get some good work done on my revisions (so help me, I want to query this dang thing already!) and I'll be meeting with some peeps from my in-person writing group. I must admit, I really love chatting with people about writing a couple of times a month. It's been amazing. (Okay, so there's an aspect that is just talking to people about anything other than anthropology and the appearance of at least having some friends, of which I am utterly lacking in this new city...yeah, yeah, little self-pity party for one here :)
Also, has anyone seen Beautiful Creatures yet? Is it any good? Or should I just re-read the book?
The hubby and I share some yummy cupcakes (my friend owns a cupcake shop...seriously dangerous to my waistline to know someone who owns a cupcake shop) and a glass of wine after The Boy went to bed. We each had a quarter of four different cupcakes: chocolate merlot, orange-infused chocolate, vanilla strawberry, and cannoli. Yum!

DeleteI've already seen Beautiful Creatures twice. The first time I had to reconcile all the differences from the book. The second time I fell in love with it. BTW - Silver Linings Playbook is AMAZING.
