Despite the fact that I'm a little in awe that somehow the year is half over, I'm still pretty stoked that today is the 4th. It's one of my favorite holidays :) I really enjoy the fireworks, the bbq's, and a day off from teaching. Hubby's off to visit family, so I've had a nice, relaxing couple of days, getting caught up on a million little things. I plan on heading to my grandparent's soon and making use of their pool. I hope it proves to be a wonderful afternoon.
Anyhow, I hope everyone has a lovely holiday, takes a moment to reflect on our nation (for better or worse) and enjoys some fun fireworks tonight!
