I must confess, I love November. Lots and lots! Why? There are lots of reasons, but the big one is pumpkin pie. Seriously. I love the stuff, and don't feel quite so strange for indulging it in all month long :) (I mean, pumpkin is good for you, right?)
My other favorite thing about this month? NaNoWriMo. I don't participate, but I love watching the web fill up with all kinds of inspirational writing posts and pictures and quotes. It really pushes me to get in some more writing time!
I may not be trying to get a novel on paper this month, but my goal is to rip the crud out of An Absence of Light and get that baby ready for the world! I also finished my other WIP the other night and am quite pleased with how it all came together. Lots and lots of fun to be had there! (Um, I need to contact my beta readers actually--anyone game for that? I know it's a busy month and all!)
And now for my little bit of motivational speaking today:
Happy November!

Good luck with your ripping... I mean, editing ;) I'll be doing the same.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you too!!
DeleteI think revising is even harder than spewing out a novel, why because once it's out, now you need to fix it! Good luck with it.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm trying to psych myself into enjoying my revisions :)
