My Sary in disguise is Morgan Shamy, a fellow blogger and friend.
Morg is a busy wife, writer and mother to four young kids, yet in the two years I’ve known her, she’s done nothing but pay it forward to me and dozens, if not hundreds, of other bloggers.
Though she is busy getting her first novel in front of various industry folks, Morgan has kept my writing goals alive by volunteering to be my writing “sponsor.” (We are busy with separate projects, but working together to complete a first draft by the end of the year. Each Sunday, we send one another “accountability updates.” Morg’s are always filled with positive words, suggestions and tips that worked for her in the past week, and these are what keep me motivated throughout the following week.)
Plus, and I don’t know how she does it, but she is *always* ready, willing and able to share a positive word via a comment, a Tweet or even a RT (and I’m not on FB, but I’m sure Morgan does the same on Facebook).
The woman is so encouraging and optimistic with her words, thoughts and actions that I am about to suggest she bottle and sell all that positivity – the world would be definitely be a better, dare I say, a Morganastic place to live :)
Anyway, Morgan gets my vote for a Sary in the Real World shout out.

Thanks so much Mark, and Morgan has definitely been an awesome inspiration for many of us! Don't forget, if you have a story you'd like to share, I'm always looking for people to host!!
THANKS so much, Meradeth :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy to do this!! :)
DeleteAwesome! Morgan totally rocks.
ReplyDeleteShe absolutely does!! :)
DeleteWhatever you do, do NOT allow these two to meet in person without me to be there to see it. Better yet, we'd need to document it. With a film crew. And RedEye cameras, because these two would make for an epic dinner get-to-gather! :)
ReplyDeleteWouldn't they? I'd totally love to be there!
DeleteMark, you are so lucky to have a writing Sary like Morgan in your life. She seems like one incredible person! :-)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks Meradeth for providing us with our Friday fix. LOVE these posts!
So glad you like them, Faith :)
DeleteI know Morgan, just I had no idea she had four kids!!! It just never came up in conversation.
ReplyDeleteI would have never guessed!
DeleteThis totally made my day!!!! And I'm seriously laughing at DPK's comment... someday Mark & I will meet and it will be an event worthy of cameras! We'll have to live-tweet the moment too. (Hopefully it'll take place in Hawaii) :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteMe casa is su casa - and Meradeth, you're invited, too :)
Deletelol, I just want to be a fly on the wall. And go to Hawaii :)
