Mary Wiebel's blog today to take part in The Realm's Faire Stockade Brigade. Apparently I have been accused of a more heinous crime, time travel, and am trying to garner a little sympathy for my unlawful acts. Won't you come and vote for me? Pretty please? There might be something in it for you (well, other than a trip through time ;). Now if only I could remember where I left my blue police box...
I'll be rather busy over at Mary's today, so please come say hello to me there. And while I'm not there, or busy with my day-job, I have revisions to work on. Which means a lot of this:
Accompanied by a lot of coffee and a small dog who pretty much only sits still if she has perched herself between me and my laptop screen. Granted, I love this novel to a ridiculous degree, even when I come across cringe-worthy bits even after a million rounds of revisions, so it's all good. And hey, doing so knowing I have an agent to represent it? Somehow makes the whole process fall under a different light :)
Come say hi to me at Mary's!
I'm hanging out over on
Will do! Best wishes with the revisions. I'm in the same stage.
ReplyDeleteI bet it does! Glad revisions are going good, mine are kicking my butt right now. I need to be more like your little guy w/the broom, heh!
ReplyDeleteTime travel is one law I'd like to break.
ReplyDeleteLife does change once you have an agent, doesn't it? Mostly you spend a LOT of time waiting, wondering if you should work on something else or wait to hear back on the one she currently has. Then you get a publisher and submit partials...and wait to hear back on whether you should write the rest or not!
ReplyDeleteLOL on Stephanie's comment. I imagine myself holding a drink whilst imagining just how much work there is to do even with an agent. :) I'm so happy for you!! Will pop over to Mary's blog now.
ReplyDeleteGlad the writing is going well and that you are enjoying writing under an agent. Yeah! So exciting. Can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea if my comment took over there. It sounds like fun!
