Realms Faire, Revisions, and Other Bookish Fun
I'm hanging out over on Mary Wiebel's blog today to take part in The Realm's Faire Stockade Brigade. Apparently I have been accused of a more heinous crime, time travel, and am trying to garner a little sympathy for my unlawful acts. Won't you come and vote for me? Pretty please? There might be something in it for you (well, other than a trip through time ;). Now if only I could remember where I left my blue police box...

Accompanied by a lot of coffee and a small dog who pretty much only sits still if she has perched herself between me and my laptop screen. Granted, I love this novel to a ridiculous degree, even when I come across cringe-worthy bits even after a million rounds of revisions, so it's all good. And hey, doing so knowing I have an agent to represent it? Somehow makes the whole process fall under a different light :)

ReplyDeleteLife does change once you have an agent, doesn't it? Mostly you spend a LOT of time waiting, wondering if you should work on something else or wait to hear back on the one she currently has. Then you get a publisher and submit partials...and wait to hear back on whether you should write the rest or not!
