This is my grandfather's place by the lake and it was really good to visit and remember him. We hung some prayer flags in his honor. So good to reflect on how wonderful he was. |
Panguitch Lake. I've fished quite a few times here :) |
The grasses on the lake shore were pretty amazing. I kind of love this pic :) |
I *may* have had a lot of fun with my camera while exploring. |
Cedar Breaks was so beautiful, even Kate the Great was jumping for joy. |
Holy crud was it HOT out. There was lots of ice cream consumption. |
I may *really* (and I do mean REALLY) not agree with the LDS church, mainly due to once being a member, but the Temple certainly is pretty. I'll give it that :) |
You're right, that picture of the grasses is BEE-U-TEE-FUL! I like that you hung out prayer flags for you grandfather. Sweet.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots! I've never been to Utah. I wonder if I'd be allowed in... I'm pretty sure I've been blacklisted by the Mormons after an ex-roommate moved out in a hurry. It seems their elders didn't like my off hand remark comparing them to the Mob.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome that you get to still enjoy his place and cherish his memory there. That ice cream looks yummy! It reminds me of an ice cream stand my husband and I used to stop at.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photos. I think it's so great you were able to spend time on your Grandfather's property. And what a special thing, hanging prayer flags!
ReplyDeleteMichelle :)
You are such a fantastic photographer! I love that picture with the grasses (though all the pictures are awesome). I think you should submit it to some kind of contest! So cool! Glad you got to get away for a little while. :)
ReplyDeleteStunning pics. That ice cream looks delicious. I love the prayer flags.
