Early Autumn in Missoula, Montana #PicturePost
So, this weekend, we went out for a nice, long (9 miles!) hike up Rattlesnake Canyon. It was a beautiful day, after rain (and even snow in the mountains--welcome to Montana!) that finally knocked the smoke down. After months of hazardous air that kept us inside, it was so lovely to get out. Plus, the first hints of fall color were peeking out here and there. I LOVE the fall colors, even if I'm very much a summer person :) Anyhow, here are a few shots of the scenery right out our door here:
Not my best photos, but just a taste of western Montana in mid-September. I hope that we have some good weather for the rest of fall, and it doesn't snow really too soon, so that I can get out more.
