To write a book? To teach a class? They were honestly full of crap. Well, that's what I'm thinking right now. I just heard that I will be teaching a class this summer here at UCD. Aside from being really, really excited, I'm also really, really scared. It's going to be a TON of work, but I get to do whatever I want. As in, fix all the dumb stuff that I've hated as the TA for this course over the past few years. Still, I'm having a mild panic attack thinking that I'll be in charge. No one else to blame for the crappy stuff that will inevitably happen. Okay, must breathe. I will be okay.
On the revisions front, I hope things are going okay. At this point, I have no idea. I'm to chapter 10 on round two, adding little character traits and other stuff to flesh out my characters and make them more lovable. The male lead in the story has totally revealed to me that he digs different languages, and because he's a time-traveler, it's a useful trait. And, ya know, he's got all the time he wants to learn them all. It's been fun, though I've spent a lot of time on Babel Fish. Thank heavens that between hubby and I we speak a few languages that I've been able to mine :-).
Okay, back to work!
