Five on a Friday from the most depressing week of the year

While driving to work on Tuesday, I heard on the radio that statistically this is the most depressing week of the year. I'm not sure I agree (heck, we even saw the SUN a few days this week--that's cause for some serious celebration!), but I thought I'd take a little poll to see how you all are feeling about this. Let me know in the comments, okay?

So, let's see, here's my random five:

1. School starts back up on the 28th, which is just over a week away. I'm already stressed. This does not bode well (dun, dun, duuuuhn). 
2. Most of my family has fled south for warmer temps. *Looks out window at 15F weather.* Hmm....beaches. 
3. I've been reading loads and loads of articles and books on skeletal biology. You know you're jealous! (Actually, learning how to detect leprosy in skeletons using ancient DNA is kinda cool.)
4. The winner for the copy of Social Media Just For Writers was announced (on that post). Was it you?
5. This is irreverent and decidedly dirty, but it made me laugh, so I hope you enjoy it :)
