This is another one of those last-book-in-a-series-I-don't-want-to-end novels that I avoided picking up for a little while because I knew I was going to be super sad when it was over. (I need to get over this aversion, but I can't help it!) Anyhow, needless to say, the other two books in the Infernal Devices really won me over, and the last book did nothing less. Tons of action, lots of lovable characters, and a twist that I guessed at but was happy to see played the way it was. Plus, Jem. To be honest, I'm rather tired of the "hurt and wounded boy with a heart of gold" kind of thing, and even though Will was awesome, Jem really stole the show for me. And, well, without spoilers, the Epilogue had me in a sobbing/laughing/depressed/overjoyed state for a good long while. Perfectly done, imho.

DeleteTotally one of the best endings EVER! She created a world where orchestrating a near perfect ending was totally possible. I am 100% Team Jem! He makes me swoony. I seriously think he's the perfect male specimen!!
